Jo Kyo, Kyo Sa, Sa Bom Instructor Certification Opportunities

Members interested in applying for certification from the Moo Duk Kwan® to become Jo Kyo, Kyo Sa, Sa Bom Certified Instructors of the Soo Bahk Do® martial art system need to plan ahead and acquire the respective Instructor Certification Study kits well in advance.

• Jo Kyo Study Kits must be possessed for a minimum of 90 days before applicant is eligible for exam
• Kyo Sa Study Kits must be possessed for a minimum of 1 year before applicant is eligible for exam
• Kyo Bom Study Kits
• Bu Sa Bom Study Kits
• Sa Bom Study Kits must be possessed for a minimum of 2 years before applicant is eligible for exam
  • All candidates seeking 4th Dan rank and/or Sa Bom Certification must submit a teaching video as instructed.
  • Only candidates 5th Dan and above who are seeking Sa Bom Certification need to submit a teaching video.

Instructor Certification Study Kits can be acquired by downloading the Study Kit Order Form and submitting full payment to Headquarters with the form OR by subscribing to the appropriate installment payment subscription on the Soo Bahk Do® Institute.
