2026 Festival Seminar Schedule Live | Register Today

  • June 14, 2026

Dear Members,

The 2026 National Festival is just five weeks away and we are happy to share the Festival Program including the detailed seminar list.  This year's event, nestled in the heart of the Rockies in Salt Lake City, Utah, promises to be an elevated experience.  Be sure to act quickly and register early as the room block prices end June 25th.  Register today!  National Festival Registration

Please see the National Festival Program HERE for all schedule details, seminar content and competition rules.

Maintaining our connection is the overwhelming priority – an opportunity to gather together with our Moo Duk Kwan family to train, learn, compete and celebrate is a powerful attribute of what makes the Moo Duk Kwan unique – we invite all of you to join us in Salt Lake City.

As we focus on our theme of “Elevate,” this year's event delivers a packed training schedule with options for all ages and ranks, optimized competition schedule and plenty of opportunity to socialize and celebrate.

The Festival's theme of “Elevate” is beautifully captured in the unique artwork designed by Jeff Griggs Sa Bom Nim honoring Victor Martinov Sa Bom Nim, who was one of the Charter Members of the U.S. Federation and instrumental in the growth of the Moo Duk Kwan in the United States.  We sincerely appreciate Jeff Griggs Sa Bom Nim for lending his talents as well as Dwayne Townsend Sa Bom Nim for this technical expertise in digitizing this design.  T-shirts and posters featuring this artwork are only available through June 28th.  The all-inclusive package includes this commemorative T-shirt if ordered by that date.

We are excited to announce that we've added a new division for Silver Moo Do In Ko Dan Ja members to compete in Hyung.  Please refer to the details in the competition section of the National Festival program.

As always, celebrating and strengthening our connection remains at the heart of everything we do, and one of the most exciting ways to experience it is by joining us at the banquet!  This is your chance to relax, celebrate, laugh, and create unforgettable memories with your Moo Duk Kwan family and friends in a vibrant, festive atmosphere.  Banquet tickets are included with the all-inclusive package, or you can easily add them separately when you register.  Don't miss this highlight of the weekend – reserve your spot today!

REMINDER – calling all Dan Members and Ko Dan Ja to complete the judging sign up form [SIGN UP HERE] as your support ensures a successful competition.  The TAC will host a judging session via Zoom by the end of June – please be on the lookout for this invite.

Able to join us in Salt Lake a day or two early?   Please consider putting a team together for the second annual Cort Stinehour Sa Bom Nim Memorial Golf Tournament, which is a fundraiser for the USSBDMDK Foundation and directly raises funds to support members in their journey towards instructor certification, school ownership, and more.  Not a golfer?  The post golf outing awards and dinner are open to all for $65 per person.  REGISTER HERE

We look forward to seeing everyone in Salt Lake City for an unforgettable, elevated experience!

In Moo Duk Kwan,

Jen Rupert, BOD Chair

Josh Lockwood, TAC Chair
