Dear Moo Duk Kwan supporter,
When Kwan Jang Nim Hwang Kee first announced Mission 2000, I remember thinking how important each of the six points he outlined were to our mission:
I often wondered if one might be more important than another, and I learned over time that each was a vital tenet. Today as 2017 ends and we prepare to greet 2018, Mission 2000 resonates. We can all be thankful for our good fortune to have the leadership of Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang, we can renew our dedication to our mission and we can celebrate the significant achievements we have all made toward the long term preservation of our art. We have learned many things along the way. Of course, our learning never stops. Supporting Financial Stability As 2017 wanes to a close, please consider making a generous gift (or an additional gift) to the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Foundation before year end. You can help by shopping through our customized account, and Amazon will donate to our foundation. (There is no extra fee for this service!) Supporting Human Relations Through generous donations and dojang fundraising, here are some recent accomplishments:
Action Philosophy Your tax-deductible contribution of $50, $500, $5000 (or whatever is within your ability) will be used to further the growth of our art by:
Some companies will match employee donations, doubling or even tripling donations made to non-profit charitable organizations. If your company does so, please let us know if you need assistance from the Foundation for your donation to qualify for matching. The Foundation Board is always seeking new ideas for expanding our resources dedicated to growing and preserving our art. If you would like to learn about ways you can contribute and serve our art by working with the foundation, please email info@soobahkdofoundation.org. We will find a way to employ your talents toward pursuit of our mission. On behalf of the Foundation board, we look forward to applying your generous donation toward our mission pursuit and we wish you and your family much joy and happiness during the upcoming holidays.
