Growing the Moo Duk Kwan®

The National School Development Committee (NSDC) plays a vital role in supporting the growth and sustainability of the Soo Bahk Do® martial art system across the United States.

The United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® has charged the NSDC with preserving the integrity of the art while promoting its growth. The NSDC works closely with instructors, school owners, and regional leaders to provide resources, guidance, and mentorship for those interested in opening new schools or expanding existing programs.

A key focus of the NSDC is helping individuals introduce Soo Bahk Do to new communities through the development of certified schools and teaching programs. The committee assists motivated individuals with every phase of the process, from understanding Federation requirements and business planning to school setup and marketing support.

Whether you are a certified instructor ready to open your own dojang or a member interested in starting a program in your community, the NSDC offers tools and expertise to help you succeed while maintaining the standards and traditions of the Moo Duk Kwan®.

Members of the Soo Bahk Do community are encouraged to reach out to the NSDC with questions or ideas about school development. By working together, we can ensure the art continues to grow in a meaningful and sustainable way, reaching more students and strengthening our network of dedicated practitioners.

The NSDC is here to help turn your vision into reality while upholding the values that make Soo Bahk Do unique.
