Two Full Scholarships Available

Dear Moo Duk Kwan^® Members,

Two full scholarships will be awarded to selected applicants to cover event registration fees, 2-night hotel stay and all meals and training for the 2025 Moment With The Masters event. (Weekend Package value up to $1130)

On behalf of the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation^® Board of Directors, we are happy to provide this exceptional opportunity for you to join us at the 2025 USA Moo Duk Kwan® Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa and Moment with the Masters in Baltimore, Maryland from November 14 -16, 2025.

The Federation, working in conjunction with the United States Soo Bahk Do^® Moo Duk Kwan^® Foundation, is awarding two fully paid scholarships for qualified candidates to attend the Moment with the Masters weekend.

Scholarship Application Process:

• Applicants shall submit an essay (1,000 words max.) or record yourself (in Dobok) discussing the following topic.
  • “Describe a challenge (financial, physical, or other hardship) you have overcome through your training in the art of Soo Bahk Do^® Moo Duk Kwan^® and how will attending the Moment with the Masters help you to achieve your personal training goals.”
  • Essays and/or video submissions must be submitted in electronic format to: 2025mwmscholarship@gmail.com
• Applicants shall refer at least one new prospective student's name to their school, subject validation by their instructor.
• Applicants shall provide name, phone number, email, and Fed ID # in the body of the email and attach a .pdf file of the essay, or URL link to the video uploaded to a Google Drive.
• Applicants shall complete an online registration for the 2025 USA Moo Duk Kwan^® Moment with the Master which is required to accept the award and cannot be used for any other event.
• Applicant's may register and select the payment by check option to complete registration without payment while waiting for scholarship recipients to be selected and notified. 
• If awarded a scholarship and you have not yet completed your online registration, you will be provided with a scholarship code to use at checkout for payment. 
• If awarded a scholarship and you have already paid for registstration, then you will receive a refund of your registration fees.
• If awarded a scholarship and you are unable to attend,  the scholarship may be awarded to another recipient at the Foundation's sole discretion.
