Through everyone’s dedicated training effort, discipline & respect, clear intent and high level of Shim Gung – the Art was strengthened from the inside out driven by the group’s strong energy.  We thank you all for contributing to the event’s success.

Furthermore, the World Moo Duk Kwan Zone Symposium was held during MWM supported by Larry Seiberlich Sa Bom Nim (WMDK Senior Advisory Team), Craig Hays Sa Bom Nim (WMDK Zone 2 Designee), Kriton Glenn Sa Bom Nim (WMDK Zone 1 Designee, visiting from Australia) and virtual attendees from WMDK Zone 3 and Zone 4.  Administrative support was provided by Michael Zickafoose Sa Bom Nim.  This event ran seamlessly with all parallel activities thanks to all involved.

As we turn our focus to 2025, we are actively searching for locations to host the 2025 Moo Duk Kwan® USA Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa and Moment With The Masters. So far Region 3 has volunteered to host and is working diligently to bring us yet another great venue. You may also post a comment on this page to propose a venue for consideration in 2025 or 2026.

Our goal is to communicate the dates and location by the end of January 2025 to allow members adequate time to plan travel. If you haven’t yet made it to a Moment with the Masters (all members are invited) or to the Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa as a Visitor (Dan Members and above are invited) we can’t speak enough about the high-quality training opportunities that are provided along with the connections and friendships developed through active participation.  We hope you are able to add this event to your calendar next year!

As a reminder, the 2025 Ko Dan Ja Candidate Time Eligible Member Questionnaire has been communicated via e-mail this week.  If you are planning to attend as a candidate, please ensure you complete that survey by December 31st, 2024 to be considered as a candidate.

Also, be on the lookout for details regarding the 2025 USA Virtual National Competition which will be held in the early part of the year.  Lastly, we hope you already have the 2025 National Festival and 50th Anniversary Celebration of the U.S. Federation in your plans, which will be held from July 17th - 19th at The Sheraton Valley Forge in Region 2

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Technical Advisory Committee, we wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving, enjoyable Holiday Season with family and friends and a Prosperous New Year!
