Historic Moo Duk Kwan® Meeting In Philadelphia

On Saturday, September 15th, Kwan Jang Nim H.C. Hwang, along with members of the World Moo Duk Kwan Technical Advisory Committee, USA Hu Kyun In (guardians of the art) and USA Technical Advisory Committee met with representatives of several tang soo do organizations from around the world in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This historic event marks the beginning steps of Kwan Jang Nim’s vision for the Moo Duk Kwan® Heritage Program.
The goal of the Moo Duk Kwan® Heritage Program is to unite past and present members of the Moo Duk Kwan® organization and create a membership path for those with less direct lineage to Hwang Kee's Moo Duk Kwan®organization. This is an all inclusive program for those who have a common thread that ties us all back to our founder, Grandmaster Hwang Kee. This program not only supports the legacy of Grandmaster Hwang Kee, but will help support and strengthen relationships among the next generation of practitioners in Moo Duk Kwan® schools worldwide.
This event reunited Moo Duk Kwan® brothers and sisters. All were sharing past experiences and discussing future possibilities in a positive manner.
