TAC Chairman Announces 2024 Appointments

Greetings All –

Josh Lockwood, Sa Bom Technical Advisory Committee Chair

On behalf of the Technical Advisory Committee, we hope this message finds you and your families in the best of health and spirits as well as motivated to participate in our upcoming events in Myrtle Beach for the National Festival and in Minneapolis for Moment with the Masters & Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa.  The remainder of 2024 is certainly historic as these two events will mark a first for each Region.  We are looking forward to seeing you there and thank Region 3 and Region 7 for their proactive support.

In addition, 2024 has marked changes to the leadership of our Federation.  A new generation of TAC and REX have been asked to serve the membership and Kwan Jang Nim while upholding the high standards our Art demands.  With these changes we reflect on the leadership pillars of prior generations where true examples of Moo Do have been built for decades.  We are grateful and indebted to those who paved the way.  We are very honored to serve in this capacity and will strive to build on this foundation; honoring our past to create our future.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of five new Regional Examiners to serve a 3 year term:

• Region 3 - Jonathan Youmans Sa Bom Nim
• Region 6 - Hiram Turner Sa Bom Nim
• Region 8 - Andy Hamer Sa Bom Nim
• Region 9 - Robert Maderazo Sa Bom Nim
• Region 10 - Sean Oulashin Sa Bom Nim

Additionally, we would like to thank all current Regional Examiners for their service and dedication to their Regions as well as their motivation to extend their terms through 2025 as we look to define the next generation of REX candidates beyond 2025.
