The Federation’s Board of Directors met July 25, 2019 and the following were the major discussion topics and action items. The 2019 National Festival in Portland, OR was a successful Moo Do event thanks to the outstanding effort put forth by our hosts, Region 10.

Moo Duk Kwan® Founder Hwang’ Kee’s original Volume 1 Textbook (hardback, 450+ pages) has been out of print since 2010. Copies have become extremely rare and expensive if you can even find one. ($575 AbeBooks, $300-$600 Amazon & EBay.)

2019 Moo Duk Kwan National Festival Now Underway in Portland Oregon

Attendees arriving Wednesday evening for the 2019 Moo Duk Kwan^® National Festival were greeted by Portland Oregon at night.

Thursday the Technical Advisory Committee members in attendance and the TAC Assistants kicked off the day by meeting to review instructor assignments for the Festival seminars and the other activities plus videoing some exciting new content for the Soo Bahk Do^® Institute.

Thursday evening attendees registered for the advanced seminar will enjoy high level guidance from various TAC instructors during the Ship Dan Kum seminar and then retire to rest up for a vigorous Friday and Saturday full of competition.

Now with your support during this time-limited preorder campaign you can help to republish Volume 1 for all.

Each Moo Duk Kwan®supporter who places a preorder will receive a limited-run,Collector's Edition of Volume 1 which is sequentially numbered,personally autographed by H.C Hwang, Moo Duk Kwan ® President and encased in unique commemorative packaging.

Preorders will only be taken until August 31, 2019 and orders for this special Collector's Edition will be shipped in October, 2019.
