Bullying. Will Your Child Be Next?

Bullying. Will Your Child Be Next?

Moo Duk Kwan® Certified Instructors and School owners have more opportunity to prevent bullying incidents than almost anyone else because they empower potential victims to defend themselves when no one else is present to protect them.

Bullying. Will Your Child Be Next?

Forget the school administrators, teachers and fellow school students, because they are unlikely to be present or may fail to intervene when confronted with bullying situations.

In fact, more and more school administrations are adopting policies that prohibit teachers from even trying to stop egregious student behavior.

Depending on oversight by adults to prevent or stop bullying incidents is a faulty strategy because bullies predominantly target their victims out-of-sight of adults who might intervene.

Additionally, common strategies that adults may seek to use to mediate bullying,  should not be used to address bullying problems.

And unfortunately, bystanders and fellow school students are more likely to video the incident with their phone to upload to social media rather than attempt to intervene and stop it.

ONLY THE TARGET can effectively protect themselves from being bullied and defend themselves to prevent such outcomes.

Moo Duk Kwan® Certified Schools and Instructors offer effective bullying prevention.

If you are a parent and your child asks you about "taking karate," you may want to err on the side of your child's safety and  hear, "I am being bullied, I am scared and I do not know how to make it stop."
