2020 National Festival

We have been closely monitoring the activities regarding state and federal responses to the Covid-19 outbreak.

After hearing your voices in the member polls, dialog with Regional Officials and considering ongoing travel restrictions, local attraction availability and other factors, we decided to focus on producing a combined event in the Fall rather than proceeding with the National Festival in Orlando in July. 

The combined Fall event's schedule of activities may include the Festival, Moment with the Masters, and the Ko Dan Ja Shim Sa. More details will be forthcoming from the Technical Advisory Committee about the slate of activities.

We are currently working out the details at locations capable of hosting such a mega-event and based on input from Regional Officials the following region venues are currently under consideration.

Board Chair Update 04-04-2020

Last week, on March 25, the Board of Directors conducted an informal meeting just prior to the National Member Gathering. During this meeting, we discussed the challenges that not only face our nation and communities, but the specific challenges faced by studio owners and practitioners in all regions of our Federation. We reviewed the Federation's Concept Of Unity at the beginning of the call to reinforce our reason for being together.

Coronavirus Update From Board and TAC Chairs

By now, most of you are aware of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and its current impact both globally and locally. As an organization, we are taking this outbreak seriously and are closely monitoring the impact it may have on regional, national and international events.

Our primary concern is the health and wellbeing of our members and their families.

Studio owners and instructors are urged to monitor local events and to stay vigilant in providing a safe environment for themselves, their students and families.
